How You Can Become Involved

Founding Member…doesn’t that sound great?  Because that’s what you could always say by becoming involved with ROLE:  “I was part of a movement that changed the World!”   And a Movement is just what the River of Light Enterprise is …a movement to weave the diversity of community into a tapestry of care, commerce and compassion for the least among us.

Become part of this historic movement by...

Becoming a Sponsoring Member – ROLE recognizes that while someone may want to participate in our services they may not always have the cash to pay for them.  We offer people the opportunity to do volunteer work in exchange for payment for many of our services however there are some we just simply need to pay cash for.  Your sponsorship help us pay for things like glasses, dentures, utilities or other emergency needs we simply can't help people without cash.

Donating Your Unwanted Computers, Cell Phones, Household Goods or Clothing – ROLE works with a variety of projects using donated goods to support individuals and families in the Denver-metro area.  To schedule a pick-up for donated items call 303-667-6032

Donating Junk or Unwanted Vehicles - ROLE has partnered with Gabriel’s Automotive Recycling to collect junk and unwanted cars (running or not).  Funds generated support a menu of services for Veterans and their families. This effort is sponsored and operated by Veterans for Veterans in the Denver-metro area. Call 720-404-9331 to schedule a pick-up.

Volunteering Your Time - We are looking for people from all walks of life to volunteer their time to help us build a stronger community, raise funds, work in food banks, serve as mentors/coaches for youth, and companions and assistants for disabled adults and seniors, to help us gather information for advocacy and legislative initiatives, and more.   Call 303-667-6032 to find out how to volunteer.

Walking the Talk

Most American’s – regardless of their politics or faith - believe that people need a safe place to live, full bellies, a good education and a chance to earn a fair wage that supports their families.  Most Americans think it’s important to have programs and services available for people who – for whatever reason – need others to help them survive and rebuild their lives.   However it takes a very special American who has the courage of their conviction and integrity to "walk the talk" by actually INVESTING their time and money in building a better world.

Most wait for the government, or big business or the church to do it.  The truth is that America wasn’t built by the government or big business or the church.  America was built “by the people, for the people” and we are those people

If America is going to realize the potential for greatness our Country’s founding fathers and mothers intended then we are going to have to invest in the people and organizations that are “working in the trenches” to rebuild the strength of our communities from our own neighborhoods.

The question is – are you the kind of person who is willing to do more than “talk about” change?  Are you willing to walk the talk?

Make a charitable investment (donation) TODAY to help us continue to enrich and expand this movement across the Country!
